About the Program

Available in all counties (currently, funding is only available in Orange and Madison Counties)

As part of this program, we build and repair permanent ramps. The Ramp Lending program lends portable, ADA approved aluminum ramps to persons who need a temporary ramp, for up to 12 months. If a ramp is available, it is loaned, at no cost, to the person in need. FHC will recover the ramp when it is no longer needed and recycle it to another family.

Application Process

Funding for this program is currently available in Orange and Madison Counties only.  Residents in Rappahannock, Culpeper, and Fauquier Counties can fill out an application if they wish to be put on the waiting list when more funding is made available.

Income eligibility requirements

Ramp Lending Application for Orange and Madison County residents, direct questions to Rapidan Better Housing.

Ramp Lending Application for all other counties, direct questions to Foothills Housing Corporation.
